12ft x 7ft 6in Mobile Canteen Cabin: The Smallest Towable Welfare Unit Available
The 12ft Mobile Canteen Cabin is the most compact wheeled welfare unit on the market, designed specifically for sites where full size mobile canteens cannot access due to height restrictions, narrow lanes, weight limits, or tight turning circles. At just 3.66m long and 2.24m wide, it fits through gaps and into positions that larger 16ft and 20ft units simply cannot reach, while still providing heated, lit, and powered welfare space for site operatives who need a place to rest, eat, and recharge during their shift.
Mounted on wheels with a towing hitch, this unit is delivered by lorry and then repositioned around the site using a van, 4×4, or similar tow vehicle. Four corner jacklegs allow it to be leveled and stabilized once in position. The all steel construction with secure shutters and a robust door system protects against theft and vandalism during unoccupied hours, making it suitable for unsupervised locations and overnight storage of equipment.
Why 12ft Mobile
The 16ft mobile canteen is our standard size, but many sites have access constraints that prevent even a 16ft unit from reaching the work front. Motorway hard shoulders, urban utility trenches, railway trackside, residential street works, and sites accessed through car parks or underpasses all present height, width, or turning limitations that a larger unit cannot navigate. The 12ft mobile canteen is specifically sized to overcome these restrictions while still providing genuine welfare facilities rather than just a tent or the back of a van.
Key Features

Setup and Operation
The unit arrives by lorry and is towed to its working position using any vehicle with a compatible hitch. Lower the four corner jacklegs to level and stabilize, connect to a 32 amp electrical supply and water source, and the cabin is ready to serve. When the work front moves, raise the jacklegs, hitch up, and tow to the new location in minutes.
